about me

Hello. So, you want to learn more, do you? I’ll try my best to clue you in. I apologize in advance if this sounds a bit like it belongs in a beauty pageant.

My name is Molly, I am in my early twenties, and I live in everyone’s favorite pan-shaped state. My favorite color is blue. I’m pretty good at baking homemade chocolate chip cookies. In my free time, I like to read, write, and take photographs.

Now on to the good stuff.

I should let you know straight off the bat that I am really weird. I am a complete nerd. I have a fatal case of wanderlust. I am constantly daydreaming. I watch an oddly large amount of British television for someone who lives in Midwest America. I am often bursting out into song, usually loudly and off-key. And, I have a strange love of puns.

I’m also really bad at this whole “being an adult” thing.

That’s really all this blog is: the musings and misadventures of an early twenty-something struggling to find her place in this strange new world of adulthood, while stubbornly refusing to let go of her inner child.

I know that the whole “finding yourself” thing is kind of cliche, but it’s kind of true in this case. I am trying to find myself. Or rather trying to find my place. Whether it’s as a writer, a moonlighting amateur photographer, or a normally functioning human adult…Though that last one may be kind of stretching it.

Like me, this blog is very random. In it,  you will discover my love of words, my utter lack of preparedness for adulthood, my attempts to capture images of the world as I see it, and, of course, my rampant sarcasm and sass.

So, go ahead. Join me on my journey into this strange new world. Smile, laugh, cringe, sympathize, relate, do whatever. It’s up to you.

Now, go. There is reading to be done. Enjoy!
